FLCC FORTified: Logo
I was contacted by FORTified, a dragon boat team from FLCC (Fort Langley Canoe Club), to redesign a new logo for their team. This senior group of 25 athletes had a logo that was outdated, in which I modernized and took advantage of the negative space to create a stronger design/imagery. This new logo is printed on their jerseys, as well as flags.
FLCC FORTified is a dragon boat team who compete and race in British Columbia, Canada
Sock it to Me: Design Contest
This worldwide sock company thrives on creativity and anything imaginative, which is why they host a "Design a Sock Contest" every year.
Out of 6,000 entries my sock design made the top 33 for the public to vote online. And out of these 33, my design won second place. It is currently being produced, and is to be sold on Sock it to Me’s Website Spring 2019.
All judging was based on the following guidelines:
-Simplicity of design
-Use of a maximum of six colours
-Use of colours that are flat and solids, NO shading, blending or half tones
-Use of pattern
-Use of imagery, themes, patterns, or designs that are different from our current line
My Design: Fireflies
My goal with this sock design was to create a scene that either tells a story, or captures your eyes with movement. This company asked for a design that differentiated from the socks they already sell, and I felt that a scene over a pattern would stand out.
Bubby Slime: Logo
Was asked to design a logo for a slime shop owner
Children's Miracle Network: Wall Design
During the month of May, Costco warehouses create a momentum to raise money for kids' health care by collecting donations for Children's Miracle Network. By donating at the cash registers, you receive a balloon.
While working at Costco, I was asked to create a design with the donation balloons on the wall. I was in charge of the entire project from drawing the main design, to cutting and glueing every single piece used.
Telson Resources Inc: Web Banner
Telson Mining company asked me to design a web banner that would advertise their work through the images they provided. During this project I had designed a few variations of the banner, and the company made the final decision. This web banner is now featured on other company websites, and represents Telson in a professional and modern way.
